Awnings

Awnings can be framed out of wood or steel. We build our awnings with steel. We call our awnings a "free standing style" meaning that it does not need to be attached to an existing structure. We DO NOT attach our awnings to existing buildings. This is due to several reason's. The first being most structures are not framed with the same spacing as our steel awnings. Wood boards might need to be added to have something to attach to. Your existing structures wall might not be able to support the awning with a heavy snow load. This could pull your wall down if your structure was not built correctly. If you are a builder and would like to order a pre-made kit that "you" can attach to your existing structure we can sell you the parts and deliver them to your door. You would install the metal awning.

If you would like us to install the awning look at our metal awnings. Typical all our awnings are made with a slope of about 2'. We do not build the flat roof awnings that were common in the 1970's. Our awings have a slope and drain water towards the low side. We can go up to 14' wide on our standard metal awnings.
