Garage Questions and Answers.
Q: What size standard garages do you sell.
A: Any size that you need from 8'x8' to 60'x100'. Our 8' to 24' wide garages are low priced. 25' to 30' wide garages are a little more expensive. If you want a garage wider than 30 feet the style changes to an Vertical Roof Garage.
Q: How do I determine what I need to buy?
A: Use a tape measure and size the area you want to cover. Look above the area and make sure nothing will block the installation of the building. (Low wires, Tree Limbs, House Overhangs, etc.) Next, measure the height of the tallest item that will enter the garage. Then call us, we will help direct you on sizing. 1-866-943-2264.
Q: How do I prepare my site for my garage?
A: Look at Site Prep / Concrete.
Q: How long does it take to get a garage?
A: Three to Six weeks. Sometimes faster. We custom make every garage that is ordered. We bend, weld, cut and prepare each unit as they are ordered. We like to over estimate and under promise.
Q: I get a lot of snow where I am. Is this the right product for me? A: No, you should spend more and buy a Vertical Roof Garage.
Q: Do I need a permit to build this? A: Call your local building office and ask. If you do go ahead and find out what the wind and snow load in your area is and find out if you need building plans. We can match up the wind/snow load with a certified building and we can get drawings for you if you need them.
Q: Do you have certified standard garages?
A: Yes. They cost a little more than an uncertified garage.
Q: What is the wall height for a garage?
A: 6' to 14' feet. At least 7' if you want a roll up door.
